On bluetooth it works great, but I'm trying to have the mouse and kb connect to both laptops depending on which laptop is plugged in since this is a shared workspace with my wife, and I want it to be easy, sit down and plug in. It needed to be less than 6 inches to work. On both MacBooks the mouse jumping around like crazy, the further away from the dock the worse it was. I had the bolt receiver plugged into the USB ports on the dock. MXmaster 3s, MX Keys mini (not mac version) both connected to Bolt receiver. Other threads on Reddit complaining of the same. I'm surprised the OP linked to the firmware update tool, cause it does not recognize this mouse. The firmware update utility does not recognize this mouse.

That doesn't seem to resolve anything.Īlso, I cannot figure out any way to update the firmware on the mouse either via Mac OS or via Windows. Just to be sure if it's the software causing issues, I uninstalled both Logi Options and Logi Options+.

I also have the Logitech MX Master 2S, which I've been using for years, and works flawlessly. Via bluetooth it's not flawless, just that the jumps seem less drastic. It's absolutely unusable on the bolt receiver. Somehow connecting via bluetooth seems marginally better than connecting via the bolt receiver. It's also jumping about on my work laptop. It's jumping around on my Mac Mini (Intel 2018), and in Windows on the same machine. I just recently bought the MX Master 3S, and I have the same exact issue.
